Who would have thought

when we first met our Dan,

That he would grow up

to be such a good man.

But the best thing we love

about this young fellow,

un grand figlio, cugino,

nipot' e fratello.

He schmoozes, he woos us

he's charming for sure.

And then he leaves us,

begging for more.

We get all the snow

from the lake they call Erie.

But, when he comes to visit,

it never seems dreary.
